ABOUT

From my experience, I have seen that the healthy and successful growth of a garden is completely parallel to what a well-rounded human needs to grow into consciousness. From Seed to Tree, or from Soil to Soul. 
When we root down through the earth, then add a little nourishing water, the fire of DO-ing (or Love in action) and the fresh winds of our breaths, we come into balance and harmony as more conscious human beings. Who in turn can help raise up other conscious human beings and contribute to sustaining the health of Mama earth.  But it all begins with the Soil; our environments in which we are taking root and growing in..

On the land, this started with cleaning and clearing the ground of camel shit (from the 4 previous residents) which in turn left land full of bugs.

So the refinement process with the soil in getting the ground clean and nourished enough to grow in has been a long but necessary one. Within myself, the journey is much the same with my childhood soil, cleaning and clearing trauma so that I may plant new seeds  of ideas and knowledge that sustains my growth into a wise and whole human BE-ing.

EXPERIENCES

We offer people the experience of working with the land, learning how to grow in Sinai desert and understanding the wider goal of regreening the desert.

Bridging The In-Between

We offer workshop and talks that help foster bridges, rather than walls between the varied groups of people living in Dahab and Sinai.

Bridging between local Bedouins, foreigners and Egyptians from Cairo and beyond. When we have a deeper understanding between each other, ie we feel seen and heard for who we are and where we come from, there is much more harmony and peace.

Women Only Classes

Egypt is a predominately Muslim country, therefore we honour and respect the customs of the locals and indigenous people, centering local women, Bedouin and Egyptian, who prefer classes which are women only. DM for current list of offerings.

Food Education

We hold monthly Feasts where it's all about the seasonal food and produce, for eg, Strawberries are in now, we cook and eat all things strawberries.

We learn about best practices to grow these foods, so people can come and share experiences, we also have a guest speaker sharing either nutritional advice or their wisdom with and from growing locally also.

Bedouin Kids Club

A weekly group to gather Bedouin kids who wish to learn something new and channel and release all that BIG bold energy they hold innately. Starting with Capoeira, Yoga and basic Breathwork, Gardening then Emotional Intelligence / Arts n Crafts, alternating weekly..

Thursdays 3-7pm, Kids aged 6-12.. Maximum 15 kids.

Beginning -

Writers Group 

We invite you to join a community to collect inspiration, feedback and new ideas about your writing. Weekly meetings co - hosted by Mary and Summer Jenna, who will guide you along with new themes and journal prompts which gets words out onto the paper! Which is all that matters. especially if you feel blocked as any type of creative, not just for writers! Can help you learn to build your story week by week and also activate your imagination with specific tools that access your subconscious.

Movement Classes

We have a dynamic, seasonally changing schedule of classes that are centred around somatic healing, including yoga, tai-chi. capoeira etc.

Dream Library

A space and place to share our dreams - BIG new earth dreams as well as nightly travels into the Unconscious. Now more than ever with the worlds systems crumbling all around us we need new visions, ideas and ways of living on this precious earth. This is a space to do this.

Uncomfortable Conversations

Growth always happens when we expand our borders and boundaries into areas of Discomfort. We hold regular conversations on topics that matter - Holding Space, Healing modalities, Feminism, Racism, Sexism and Classism are all taboo topics that we deep dive into with other experienced facilitators. The Intention is to bring shadows into the light, as this is truly how to build a conscious community, based on Truth and Trust.

Heart Hive

Understanding the heart, as an organ but also as a really powerful electromagnetic field that communicates with all other heart fields before the mind even has time to say hello! Heart Coherence is the future and what the world so needs right now, moving away from the head and intellect and into the heart and intuition. Practices and discussions on what that looks and feels like in everyday life.
